Spirituality does not consist in visions, states of ecstasy or spiritual enjoyments. A person must not crave for these exceptional gifts. If God grants them to you, receive them with reverence and do not speak about them. (S.L. Pg. 25)

Spirituality is nothing but a way of life. It is more of one’s relationship between oneself and creator. We as religious are called and set apart to grow in deep intimacy with God and master to reach our destiny.

The spirituality of the Congregation of Jesus Mary Joseph, is ‘an ever renewed search for God’s will, a spirituality of ongoing discernment in integration of both interior and exterior spirit.

Our spirituality is nourished through:

  • Eucharistic devotion

  • Prayer and contemplation

  • Community life

  • Missionary service

  • Discernment

  • Self-offering

As religious sisters, we are called to deepen our intimacy with Christ and become signs of God’s love in the world.
